The first of four parts reproducing the 1952 war diary of No. 1 HQ RASC/EFI (Royal Army Service Corps/Expeditionary Forces Institutes), documenting the organisation supporting NAAFI operations in Japan and Korea during the Korean War.
The diary records personnel movements, supplies and shipping, strength returns and the day-to-day administration of the EFI organisation. It also provides contemporary evidence of personnel posted to NAAFI establishments in Korea and the movement of mobile canteens and other equipment supporting troops in the field.
