The Sutlers Supreme
A Note from The Sutlers Supreme
Since the last post went live in December, work here at The Sutlers Supreme has very much continued — just mostly behind the scenes.
Research and preparation are currently underway on several strands of the project, including further material on NAAFI and EFI service in post-war Austria, along with ongoing archival work connected to earlier themes explored on the site. As ever, this involves tracking down original sources, revisiting press cuttings, and refining maps and images so that future pieces can be published with the care and context they deserve.
At the same time, The Sutlers Supreme is always keen to hear from anyone who may hold material that could help inform future pages — whether photographs, documents, press cuttings, ephemera, or personal recollections connected to NAAFI, EFI, or associated welfare services. Even small fragments can help illuminate a much wider story.
Rather than rush material out, the aim remains the same as when this project began: to document these often-overlooked stories properly, and to present them clearly and thoughtfully.
If you would like to get in touch or share material, please use the Contact email.
New posts will follow in due course. In the meantime, thank you — sincerely — to everyone who continues to read, share, and take an interest in the work here.
More soon.
