Introducing The Sutlers Supreme Dispatch

A new occasional newsletter from The Sutlers Supreme

Over the past year, The Sutlers Supreme has steadily grown from a small research project into a wider exploration of NAAFI, the Expeditionary Force Institutes (EFI) and the people who served within them.

Along the way I have had the pleasure of corresponding with fellow researchers, family historians and descendants who have generously shared photographs, documents, memories and new avenues of investigation. Some of these discoveries have found their way into articles on the website, while others remain works in progress or simply fascinating snippets that deserve to be shared.

It is for this reason that I am pleased to announce the forthcoming launch of The Sutlers Supreme Dispatch (SSD).

SSD will be an occasional newsletter for readers interested in the history of NAAFI, EFI and the Naval Canteen Service (NCS). In addition to updates on recently published articles, the Dispatch will provide a glimpse behind the scenes of ongoing research and feature discoveries that may never become full articles in their own right.
